B0MB THREAT At 11:38 p.m. (CST), January 17, 1986, an unidentified man telephoned the licensee's

" Trouble Center" and stated " Hey, buddy, you'd better shut down the Monticello plant or we'll blow it up."

The Trouble Center notified corporate security, which then contacted plant officials.

The Wright County Sheriff's Department was notified and assisted security personnel in searching the plant and surrounding area. No bomb was found. The unusual event was terminated at 2:45 a.m. (CST), January 18, 1986.

The State of Minnesota will be notified.

Region III (Chicago) was first informed of this event at 1:10 a.m. (CST), January 18, 1986.
