B0MB THREAT At about 7 p.m. (CDT), August 25, 1985, an unidentified man telephoned the Minneapolis Emergency Center 911 number and said there was a bomb at the Monticello Nuclear Plant.

The licensee was notified of the bomb threat at 7:15 p.m. (CDT), and immediately began a search of the Owner Controlled Area and the internal areas. Off-site law enforcement agencies and the NRC Information Assessment Team also were notified.

No bomb was discovered. -

The State of Minnesota will be notified.

Region III (Chicago) was first notified of this event at 7:40 p.m. (CDT), August 25, 1985.
