UNSCHEDULED SHUTDOWN GREATER THAN 48 HOURS McGuire Unit 1 is returning to operation today after having been out of service since 7:04 p.m. (EST) on Friday, March 7, for repairs of a leaking sludge lance cover on a steam generator.

McGuire Unit 2 is operating at 100 percent power.
