Hatch, Units 1 and 2 - Follow-Up Pre-Submittal Meeting regarding a NFPA-805 Supplement License Amendment Request Date(s) and Time(s): October 05, 2021, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM ET Location: Teleconference Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is for Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) to describe its revised plan to submit a license amendment request (LAR) to supplement National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)-805, Performance-Based Standard for Fire Protection for Light Water Reactor Electric Generating Plants, for Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant (Hatch), Units 1 and 2. This is a follow-up meeting to the pre-submittal meeting held on January 26, 2021, on the same topic.
