The purpose of this letter is to report a change in commitment regarding NRC Bulletin 2012-01, "Design Vulnerability in Electric Power System," dated July 27, 2012. Susquehanna Nuclear, LLC (Susquehanna) committed to follow the generic schedule provided in Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) letter to the NRC dated October 09, 2013 (Reference 1) for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES)

(Reference 2). NEI has revised the industry initiative on Open Phase Condition (OPC).

Susquehanna commits to follow Revision 2 of the NEI OPC Initiative (Reference 3), or any subsequent revision issued by NEI on behalf of the industry. This commitment is summarized below and in the Attachment.

Summary ofRegulatory Commitments:

The Regulatory Commitment contained in Reference 2 states:

"SSES will follow the generic schedule that is provided in the NEI 13-12 OPC Industry Guidance Doctanent, issued December 2013, to support addressing OPC in off-site power sources at nuclear power plants. "

Susquehanna is modifying this Regulatory Commitment to state:

"Susquehanna commits to adhering to the NEI Open Phase Condition Initiative, Revision 2, dated September 2018, or any subsequent revision issued by NEI Susquehanna intends to follow the generic schedule therein."
