License No. DPR-49 Request for Re-gulatory Conference By letter dated November 14, 2013, the NRC transmitted Inspection Report 50-331/2013004 for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC). In the inspection report, the NRC identified a finding that has preliminarily been determined to have low to moderate safety significance (White). The letter provided NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC (NextEra) with the opportunity to request a regulatory conference or submit the NextEra position in writing.

NextEra appreciates the opportunity to meet with the NRC on this issue and by this letter requests a regulatory conference to present NextEra perspectives on the facts, assumptions, and significance regarding the proposed finding. This request was also verbally communicated to Ms. Christine Lipa.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.
