Dear Sir or Madam:

Provided as Enclosures to this letter are updates to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) ISFSI-Only Emergency Plan (IOEP) and Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EPIPs).

These updates are submitted as required by 10 CFR 50.54(q) and 10 CFR 72.44(f).

On February 1, 2022, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54( q), SCE implemented Revision 2 of the IOEP (SONGS document IOEP-1) as well as the SONGS ISFSl-only Emergency Action Level (EAL)

Technical Basis Manual (SONGS document IOEP-2). SCE has determined that the changes in Revision 2 of IOEP-1 and IOEP-2 do not reduce the effectiveness of the ISFSI-Only Emergency Plan or ISFSI-Only Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures, and the ISFSI-Only Emergency Plan, as changed, continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50 47(b) and the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix E, as exempted.

Enclosure 1 of this letter transmits Revision 2 of the SONGS ISFSI-Only Emergency Plan (IOEP-1) effective February 1, 2022.

Enclosure 2 transmits Revision 2 of the SONGS ISFSI-Only Emergency Action Level Technical Ba~es Manual (IOEP-2) effective February 1, 2022.

Enclosure 3 provides a summary of the analysis supporting the changes Revision 2 of IOEP-1 and llOEP-2. /I- XJ..j 5: ,
