UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 December 9, 2020 Mr. Jonathan Chesebro Senior International Trade Specialist U.S. Department of Commerce 1401 Constitution Avenue NW Washington, DC 20230

Dear Mr. Chesebro:

It is our sincere pleasure to invite you to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions 33rd Regulatory Information Conference (RIC). This years RIC is scheduled for March 8 - 11, 2021 and will be the NRCs first virtual RIC!

The RIC, sponsored by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation and the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research, offers an open environment in which diverse groups of stakeholders may learn, share, and discuss information on significant and timely nuclear regulatory activities and emergent issues. The RIC is the largest public meeting the agency hosts, historically bringing together nearly 3,000 participants from more than 30 countries and representing interested stakeholders from other government agencies, industry, international organizations, and the public. Increased participation is anticipated this year since the RIC will be virtual.

As the NRC continues its transformation journey to be a modern, risk-informed regulator, we are excited to bring new innovations to the RIC! This years theme is The Power of Possibility and we invite you as a speaker for our technical session entitled "Interagency Discussion: Foreign Policy Impacts on Nuclear Export Licensing. We welcome your perspective and believe your remarks will help stimulate in-depth discussions that are both informative and engaging. The session is currently scheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2021, from 10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

We hope you are available to accept this invitation. To confirm your participation, we request that you complete and sign the enclosed NRC Forms 1105 and 1106 and e-mail them to Joanne.Savoy@NRC.gov, by December 17, 2020.
