SUMMARY

Reactor power was maintained at approximately 100% full power for the majority of the month. On September 20,1998, at 0305 hours0.00353 days
0.0847 hours
5.042989e-4 weeks
1.160525e-4 months
, reactor power was reduced to approximately 92%, to perform turbine valve testing. After the completion of the testing power was increased to 100%. ,

Reactor power of 100% was achieved at 0414 hours0.00479 days
0.115 hours
6.845238e-4 weeks
1.57527e-4 months
on September 20,1998. On September 24,1998, the reactor was manually tripped from

- 100% full power at 2203 hours0.0255 days
0.612 hours
0.00364 weeks
8.382415e-4 months
when a Main Feedwater Control Valve began to close during testing of the Steam and Feedwater Rupture Control System ;

' (SFRCS). After a solenoid valve for the Main Feedwater Control Valve was repaired, the plant startup was cci n.enced. The reactor was taken cnbcal at 0557 hours0.00645 days
0.155 hours
9.209656e-4 weeks
2.119385e-4 months
on September 26,1998.
