.By letters dated April 16, 1993, June 1. 1993, and June 28,.1993, Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation (VYNPC) responded'to Generic Letter (GL) 92-08, "Thermo-Lag 330-1 Fire Barriers," dated December 17, 1992, and a i follow-up request for additional information dated June 2, 1993, in regard to j' Thermo-Lag 330-1 fire barriers installed at Vermont Yankee. s Yourresponses'slatedthatmodificationsat: i ermont Yankee to achieve compliance with,10 CFR Part 50,~ Appendix R, without reliance on Thermo-Lag 330 were completed on May 18, 1993,- and that the modifications were to 1) reroute circuits to prov.ide 20' feet separation and 2) replace Thermo-Lag with Interam t E-54A, which you stated _is.a qualified 3-hour fire wrap manufactured by 3M Company.<;By letter dated ~ June'28, 1993,?you stated that all corrective actions for-the; resolution of the Thermo-Lagtissues had been implemented _at Vermont; Yankee.
