2) Annual Repods 1990,1991,1992,1993,1994, and 1995 Ladies and Gentlemen:

We discovered an error in the software used in the Liquid Scintillation Counter to determine concentration of tritium in liquid effluents. The program we were using included a decay factor that erroneously adjusted the counts in time back to October 1,1990. The decay factor adjustment only applies to data obtained after Oct.1,1990, and does not apply to results reported by Georgia Tech to NRC prior to Oct.1,1990.

The decay factor adjustment yielded higher concentrations of tritium than was actually measured.

The corrected tritium concentrations in liquid effluents for 1990,1991,1992,1993,1994, and 1995 are appended. These corrections only apply to tritium and nothing else.

The percent differences between the corrected and previously reported concentrations of tritium in liquid effluents for each year are listed below: ,
