Dear Mr. Keppler:

As part of the Unit 3 preoutage work, a Secondary Cont.ainment Leak Rate Test (SCLRT) was performed on the Unit 2/3 Reactor Building.

According to Section 4.7.C.1.c of the Dresden 2/3 Technical Specifi-cations, the secondary containment must be capable of maintaining .25 inch of water vacuum with the Reactor Building ventilation system isolated and one Standby Gas Treatment train in operation.

On October 3, 1985, the test was performed in accordance with statien procedures. The result was .255 inch of water negative pressure in the secondary containment with respect to the atmosphere, which meets j the Technical Specification Requirement. This report is submitted in I

accordance with the requirements of Section 6.6.C.3 and Table 6.6.1 item j of the Unit 3 Technical Specifications.
