This letter is being submitted in accordance with the Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2, Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) Section 3.2, which stipulates that the NRC shall be notified within 30 days following the date of approval of a change to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.

1 By letter dated July 5,1996, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) l approved our request to utilize a revised worksheet for calculating net total suspended solid concentrations discharged to the Schuylkill River at Outfall 001. A copy of the PA DEP letter approving this NPDES permit revision is attached. The NRC was previously notified of our l request to establish these two (2) Internal monitoring points by letter dated June 18,1996.
