-McGuire Nuclear Station SWSOPI Self Assessment Plan l Gentlemen:
The purpose of this letter is to retract the referenced letter which requested a review and approval of the McGuire SWSOPI self-assessment plan.
Raw water systems at McGuire Nuclear Station have had a high reliability rate in recent years and there are no outstanding safety issues. A Self Initiated Technical Audit (SITA) performed in 1993 on the.McGuire raw water systems did not reveal any safety issues and all-identified issues have been addressed.
Therefore, the proposed SWSOPI self assessment scheduled for July 1996 has been canceled.
