Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In response to IE Bulletin 82-04 dated December 3, 1982, Duke Power Company has determined that no Bunker Ramo electrical penetrations are installed or are planned to be installed in safety related systems at Oconee Nuclear Station.

The Oconee electrical penetrations were manufactured by the Viking Corporation, and penetrations supplied by the D. G. O' Brian Corporation are planned for use in the Oconee Standby Shutdown Facility (SSF) . In accordance with item 5 of the subject bulletin, no further action is needed for Oconee Nuclear Station.
