SUMMARY

OF OPEBA1ING EXPERIENCE May, 1982 l

OP ER ATIONS: The reactor coolant system was filled and vented on May 15.

f The reactor was in hot shutdown on May 17.

The reactor coolant s} stem integrity test was completed on May 17.

Initial criticality was achieved for Cycle VIII on May 20.

On May 22, zero scwer physics tests were completed.

On May 23, the unit was returned to service however, the reactor tripped on 10-10 steam generator level during startup. The unit was returned to service later on May 23.

cn May 24, the unit was removed from service for turbine overspeed and torsion tests. Later on May 24 the unit was returned to service.

The unit was at 90% reactor power at the end of the month.

P. A I NT EN A NC E: The Unit was returned to service folloVing the ref ueling outage on May 23. Feguired surveillance testing was completed.

Replaced solenoid valve coils for a feedwater bypass valve.

Bepaired or replaced nusecous valves.

Belocated a MCC and incpected and replaced equipment as per 79-018 requirements.

Upgraded start circuitry en Diesel Generator 12.

Besoved FCP trip on SI signal per CCF.

Inspected a FCP so t o r.

Inspected and replaced, as required, seals on a FCE.

Fepaired containrent fan coil units.

Installed a PCP oil collection system.

Installed doors in a centrol room A/C duct.

Completed piping and electrical work associated with TMI modificaticns.

Installed new seals and bearings in a CC pump.

Feplaced a seal on a FEF pump.

Replaced a de fect ive relay in the Bus 1-5 undervoltage protection circuit.
