CULTURAL RESOURCES CALLAWAY PLANT Per your discussion on 3/30/90 with Mr. David E. Shafer and myself, it is my understanding we are in agreement that the twenty-three prehistoric archaeological sites and the two historic sites listed below are the only sites on Union Electric property surrounding the Callaway Plant which are considered potentially cligible for nomination to the National Register.of Historic Places. While only three of these sites (23 CY 20, 23 CY 352, and 23 CY 359) are located within the "arca of. potential effects" of the

" undertaking" (i.e., operation and. maintenance of the Plant) as defined by 36 CFR 800.2, protection of all of the sites on our property is addressed in the Cultural Resources Management Plan dated October, 1983.

The twenty-five sites considered potentially cligible are as-follows:
