,g,,,  ; observed on the HPCI turbine exhaust check valve 3-2301-45. This is in excess of Tech. l

,g,,, g Spec. 4.7.A limit of 29.38 SCFH for single valve leakage. There was no effect on public l

, , , health or safety. This event is of minimal safety significance since the leakage was y only through the valve and not through the entire volume being tested. Last occurrence ,

of this type was reported by R.O. 82-07/03L on Docket 50-249.

LOAD (MAE) O y g oESCRIPTION OF EVENT While performing DTS-1600-1. Local Leak Rate Testing of Primary Contain-ment Isolation Valves, it was determined that the HPCI turbine exhaust check valve 3-2301-45 was leaking excessively (284.84 SCFH); Tech. Spec. 4.7.A. limit is 29.38 SCFH for single valve leakage.
