Reference:

Union Electric Letter to the NRC (ULNRC-477) dated August 14, 1981, signed by J. K. Bryan.

The referenced letter refers to the submittal of Chapter 18 of the Callaway FSAR, Site Addendun which addresses the site specific responses to NUREG 0737.

Transmitted herewith are additional commitments to training in the area of Mitigating Core Damage. This information augments the Union Electric Response in Chapter 18, section 2.B.4. Training of Callaway Plant personnel to recognize and

mitigate the consequences of core damage will be in accordance
with the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations Guideline, Rev. 1, 1/15/81. Tcble I of this guideline lists specific plant l personnel who will receive this training. In accordance with Table I certain persons may receive only selected portions of the training outlined in the guideline. Table I is attached for your reference. This information will be incorporated in a future revision to the FSAR.
