Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix J, Section V.B.1, Georgia Power Company hereby submits a summary technical report entitled

" Reactor Containment Building 1989 Integrated Leak Rate Test" for the "as left" integrated leak rate test which was conducted at Plant Hatch Unit 2 during the Fall 1989 maintenance / refueling ouiage. Section 2 of the i enclosed report provides a summary of the test results. The as-left

' leakage rate (95% upper confidence level) was 0.8 weight percent per day, .

which is below the acceptance criteria of 0.9 weight percent per day (75%  ;

of the allowable leakage limit).

Included in Section 2 of the report is information on the reactor containment building "as found" condition, as requested in NRC I&E Notice 85-71, " Containment Integrated Leak Rate Tests", issued on August 22, 1985.

The upper confidence level as-found condition was less than the allowable leakage limit.

Five copies of the report are enclosed for your convenience.
