started properly three times before it failed again on the fifth start. Safety sig-nificance minimal because redundant diesel was available. Similar occurrences as l referenced in R.O. #50-237/1979-50, R.O. #50-237/1977-11, I #-12-2-72-9, I #-12-2 26, I #-12-2-75-39.

On fifth l i i l attempt the air start solenoid was not heard to enercize. The solenoid was replaced I and tested, but no fa.it was found. Diesel successfully started more than 5 times  ;

during trouble shooting and twice since. The multiple start nodification which will [

be installed shortly will help eliminate air start motor problem.  ;
