Dear Mr. Berryman:

The Region I Field Office, NRC Office of Investigations (OI), initiated an investigation (Case No.

1-2018-007 on January 19, 2018, to determine whether a concerned individual who worked in the training department at Susquehanna Steam Electric Station was discriminated against for raising a safety concern. Based upon the evidence developed during the OI investigation, the NRC did not substantiate that the training department employee had been discriminated against for raising a safety concern.

Please note that final NRC investigation documents, such as the OI report described above, may be made available to the public under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) subject to redaction of information appropriate under the FOIA. Requests under the FOIA should be made in accordance with 10 CFR 9.23, Requests for Records. Additional information is available on the NRC website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/foia/foia-privacy.html.
