In accordance with Title 1O of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), 50.12, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) requested exemptions from portions of 10 CFR 50.47(b), 10 CFR 50.47(c)(2) and 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E for the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS). The requested exemptions would allow PNPS to reduce emergency planning requirements consistent with the anticipated permanently defueled condition of the station (Reference 1). In Reference 2, the NRG requested additional information concerning the exemption request. ;ix'45 1vf--~

2.19.016 Page 2 of 2 In Reference 3, Entergy responded to the requests for additional information. As noted in the response to item NRG RAI-PNP-3, written concurrence from the Town of Plymouth and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on the proposed 30-minute declaration time and the 60-minute timeframe for notification would be provided by February 15, 2019.

The Enclosure to this letter provides the written concurrence from the Town of Plymouth and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

A copy of this submittal has been provided to the designated Commonwealth of Massachusetts officials.
