Title:

Radiation Protection Aspects of the ROP Enhancement - Industry Perspectives Date(s) and Time(s): December 14, 2018, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM Location: NRC One White Flint North, 10B04 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD Category: This is a Category 2 meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by discussing regulatory issues with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at designated points identified on the agenda.

Purpose:

NRC staff and industry representatives will discuss radiation protection aspects of the Reactor Oversight Process (ROP) Enhancement effort. Specifically, industry will lead discussions in four topics that will be considered by NRC staff during the ROP Enhancement effort: (1) ALARA, (2) Radiation Protection Instrumentation, (3) Effluents and (4) Self-Assessments. NRC staff will ask questions during industry-led discussion periods. Members of the public will be offered opportunities to ask questions at certain times during the meeting and at the end of the meeting.
