"At 1026 EST on 12/01/2018, Salem Generating Station reported a recovery of an Endangered Species to National Marine Fisheries. At 1110 EST on 12/01/2018, the report was also made to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Fish and WIidiife Division. This report was required due to recovery of a deceased Atlantic Sturgeon at the Circulating Water Intake Trash Racks.

"This recovery did not exceed any NRC regulations or reporting criteria. This notification is being made solely as a four-hour, non-emergency notification for a Notification of Other Government Agency. This event is reportable in accordance with 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi).

"There was no impact on the health and safety of the public or plant personnel.

"The NRC Resident lnspector has been notified."

Notified R1DO (Burritt) and Endangered Species Resource via email.
