NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 03038520/2018001, COASTAL MATERIALS TESTING LAB, LLC, WEST HAVEN, CONNECTICUT

Dear Mr. AI-Bakri:

This letter refers to your correspondence dated June 5, 2018, and entered into our Agency Document Management System on June 18, 2018, in response to our letter dated May 9, 2018, and Notice of Violation.

' During our review of your corrective actions, we noted that you did not provide us with the corrective actions that will prevent recurrence.

In a July 12, 2018, telephone conversation with Randolph Ragland of my staff, you reported that you placed the requirement for conducting assessments and employee training in your scheduling calendar, and that you trained your staff on the license requirement to have a lock or outer locked container for each portable gauge when the gauge is in transit or when not under direct surveillance.

Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented in your letter and communicated by telephone on July 12, 2018. Your cooperation with us is appreciated.
