Investigation showed problem to be open stationary hold 7 8 9 80 top4] coil circuitry, unrelated to events reported in LER's 76-18 and 21. Unit was shut down 7 8 9 80

$ 10 wire. Reactor head receptacle pins were cleaned. Complete'lug and cable assembly'from head connection to head plug board'-was replaced.

Readings at rod control system cabinets verified integrity of mechanism, power supply, and rod was exercised to demonstrate operability before returning the unit to service.
