Cook Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, Emission Certification VEX-STNRCl-11-15 for EU-DRYCASKDSLGEN.

Emission Certification VEX-STNRCl-11-15 is provided as an enclosure to this letter in accordance with Renewable Operating Permit MI-ROP-84252-2018, Section V.1 and Vl.2.

In accordance with the requirements of Sections V .1 and VI.2, we are attaching a copy of the l Engine Family Certification issued by USEPA and a photograph. of the engine fl:ame plate identifying the Engine Family and Model Year for the engine located in the Dry Cask Storage Area at the Cook Nuclear Plant. We are supplying this information in lieu of performing the stack test described in Section V.l. ofFG-NSPSIIII covering the Dry Cask Storage Area Diesel Generator at the Cook Nuclear Plant. We will retain copies of this information at the site for inspection in the future.

Simon, Director Compliance and Innovative Strategies Division Office of Transportation and Air Quality Pursuant to Section 111 and Section 213 of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. sections 7411 and 7547) and 40 CFR Part 60 and Part 89, and subject to the terms and conditions prescribed in those provisions, this certificate of conformity is hereby issued with respect to the test engines which have been found to conform to applicable requirements and which represent the following stationary engines, by engine family, more fully described in the documentation required by 40 CFR Part 60 and 89, and produced in the stated model year. *

  • This certificate of conformity covers only those new stationary compression-ignition engines which conform in all material respects to the design specifications that applied to those engines described in the documentation required by 40

It is a term of this certificate that the manufacturer shall consent to all inspections described in 40 CFR 89.129-96 and 89.506-96 and authorized in a warl'ant or court order. Failure to comply with the requirements of such a warrant or court order may lead to a revocation or suspension of this certificate for reasons specified in 40 CFR Pati 89. It is also a tenn of this certificate that this certificate may be revoked or suspended or rendered void ab initio for other reasons specified in 40 CFRPaii 89.

This ce1iificate does not cover stationary engines sold, offered for sale, or introduced, or delivered for introduction, into commerce in the U.S. prior to the effective date of the certificate
