), Mr. Mark Leik, former Manager, Regulatory Compliance, General Electric
-Hitachi (GEH) Vallecitos Nuclear Center (VNC), request ed U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) authorization for Mr. Steven M. Cavanaugh, Mr. Matt J. Feyrer , and Mr. Bruce Wade Mattox as reviewing officials for NRC License Number SNM-960 (Docket Number 07000754) and NRC License Number SNM-1270 (Docket Number 07001220) for the VNC
. We have completed our review of the submittal. Based on the information provided, the NRC staff has determined that Mr. Cavanaugh, Mr. Feyrer , and Mr. Mattox meet the criteria specified in NRC Order s EA-06-155 , EA-06-203, and EA-06-250 and, as such, are authorized to serve as VNC Reviewing Officials for the above referenced NRC licenses.
Reviewing officials must maintain and protect all fingerprints and Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal history records, other related records, and are authorized to grant access to Safeguards Information, as specified in the Order
- s. Please note that if GEH wishes to assign new or additional reviewing officials, the NRC must approve each individual before he/she can act in that position.
In accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.390 of the NRC's "Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room, or from the Publicly Available Records Component of NRC's ADAMS.
