INSPECTIONS, TESTS, ANALYSES, AND ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA DEMONSTRATION PROJECT ACTION PLAN The June 1, 2017 final report (Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML17135A415) of staffs demonstration of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRCs) Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC) processes includes a table of recommendations for enhancing external stakeholder interactions, improving NRC processes guidance, and creating organizational structures and information dashboards that will further increase the NRCs capacity, agility, and decision-making when implementing the first-of-a-kind ITAAC closure processes.
Pursuant to the September 25, 2017 memorandum from you to us (ADAMS Accession No. ML17251A285) an action plan has been developed with deliverable milestones to implement the recommendations of the final report. Using this action plan, included as , the recommendations from the final report will be scheduled and completed, as appropriate.
As the action plan milestones are dispositioned, and additional improvements are identified, staff will keep you informed of this progress.
