Dear Mr. Barker:

The Regional Assistance Committee has completed the review of the updated Illinois Plan for Radiological Accidents (IPRA) - Clinton, Volume VIII, dated 03113, site specific to the Clinton Power Station. A line in the left margin indicates all changes made since the 11111 update.

The following changes were made since the draft plan was submitted for review:

  • The De Witt County EOC floor plan was updated
  • Sub-Area Population Map was updated
  • Updated Chapter 3 Sheltering Guide; Appendix D - Reception Centers and Shelters; and Appendix E - Sheltering Profiles to show Eisenhower High School in Macon County to be temporarily unavailable while they undergo renovations
  • Changed ICC Command and Control position title for 24-hour staffing from ICC Chairman to ICC's Homeland Security Director The Concept of Operations for the State of Illinois and De Witt County as outlined in the 11111 IPRA Clinton have not changed. The plan has been found to conform to Title 44 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 350, and the requirements in NUREG-0654IFEMA-REP-1. Enclosed is the final printing ofthe document dated 03/13, and accompanying maps. All other copies of this plan should be destroyed.
