Re: North Anna Hi Roy - licensee is working a root cause on this. Per their sequence recorder, negative rate flux trips came in on both units prior to indications of LOOP.

North Anna Mark: I understand you are doing the AIT at North Anna. I had a question regarding the plant trip. Did the licensee understand what caused the plant trip?. I heard different stories including loss of offsite power due to sudden pressure relays. Loss of offsite power does not cause a reactor trip. I am curious to find out the real cause of the plant trip. Dual unit trip is a concern to us from electrical design perspective to determine whether they have adequate voltage at the safety buses. If you have more details, please pass on any relevant information to me at your convenience.
