Dear Sir or Madam:

Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 73.22(f)(3), James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant (JAF) requested NRC approval to use Symantec Desktop Email Version 10.3.2 in Reference 1. Based on discussions with the NRC reviewer, this letter retracts the request. JAF expects to submit a separate request in the future for a newer software in conjunction with other licensees in Exelon Generation Company, LLC.
