This letter is in response to your letter dated February 14, 1986, in response to our Inspection Reports 50-373/85034 and 50-374/85035. We have completed our evaluation of your response to the violations and other matters ~ to which you responded and find that collectively your responses are acceptable. Regarding violation Items 2 and 3, your responses indicate that you do not believe these items to be violations. It now appears that our inspectors may have received incorrect or unsubstantiated information from your staff during this inspection regarding these items. After considering the information contained in your response we now cgree that Items 2 and 3 do not represent violations. I would like to emphasize two points concerning your activities. The first is tnat verbal information given to NRC inspectors during inspections must be accurate. The second is that it is our intention to conduct future inspections in these areas and to monitor your corrective action regarding Item
