  • Denotes those present at exit intervie . Status of Previous Inspection Findings (Closed) Violation (267/8501-01): Failure to Follow Procedure - MRIM was deleted February 22, 1985. This item is close (Closed) Violation (267/8512-01): Failure to Follow Procedure - The licensee held discussions with shift managers and supervisors emphasizing the importance of the administrative procedures. In addition, a practice of keeping the contractor superintendent and lead QC representative over to verify that all paperwork associated with their assigned shift's work was, properly signed-off was established. The NRC inspector spot checked some of the CRD0A refurbishment procedures and found no additional signature omissions. -2-(Closed)UnresolvedItem(267/8412-02): This item consisted of two parts relating to licensee comitment to ANSI N45.2.9-197 The records center file room was a 3-hour rated facility based on label plate data on a fire door. This is in contrast to the requirements of ANSI N45.2.9-1974, Section 5.6, which states, in part, that records ". . . should be afforded the equivalent protection of an NFPA Class A, 4-hour minimum rated facility."

The Updated FSAR, Revision 2, Section B.5.19.9 commits to ANSI N45.2.9-1974 for collection, storage, and maintenance of QA records. The FSAR does not include any exceptions to ANSI N45.2.9-1974. This item is closed and reopened as a deviation (8516-01).

Refurbishment work has been completed on all rods returned and currently installed in the core. No violations or deviations were note . Exit Interview An exit interview was held June 28, 1985, with Mr. J. W. Gahm, Manager, Nuclear Production, and other PSC personnel as denoted in paragraph 1 of this report. The NRC senior resident inspector also attended this meeting. At the meeting, the scope of the inspection and findings were summarized.
