NRC ROUTINE INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-5/2006-202
Dear Dr. Pell:
This letter refers to the inspection conducted on November 27-29, 2006, at your Pennsylvania State University Breazeale Research Reactor facility. The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your facility. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
This inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selected examination of procedures and representative records, observations of activities, and interviews with personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, no safety concerns or noncompliances of NRC requirements were identified. No response to this letter is required In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at (the Public Electronic Reading Room) http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
