| Event Description | More than 4 Prompt Notification System sirens were simultaneously out of service for greater than 12 hours1.388889e-4 days <br />0.00333 hours <br />1.984127e-5 weeks <br />4.566e-6 months <br />. In accordance with site procedures, this is a major loss of notification capability. These sirens are out of service due to a loss of power caused by elevated wind conditions in the region. Oswego County is currently working to restore power to the sirens. State and Local counties were notified.
The NRC Resident Inspector will be notified of this event by the licensee. |
