Dear Sir or Madam:

Via the reference submittal, Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy), submitted a request for the NRCs approval of a revision to the Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2 (ANO-2) surveillance capsule withdrawal schedule presented in Table 5.2-12 of the Safety Analysis Report. In the description of the change, the Removal Interval for capsule number 4 (W-284) is changed from 30 Effective Full Power Years (EFPY) to the measured interval of 29.94 EFPY.

In a subsequent review of this submittal, Entergy noted that the interval listed in the description of the change did not match the value listed in Table 2 (Proposed Change to Capsule Removal Schedule) of the referenced submittal. In the description it is listed as 29.94 EFPY. Table 2 provides a value of 29.24 EFPY. The value listed in the body of the attachment is in error. The correct value is 29.24 EFPY.

This editorial error has been entered into the ANO Corrective Action program (reference CR-ANO-C-2017-4217). The error does not change the details provided in the reference request nor the conclusions of the request.

The ANO NRR Project Manager has been informed of this editorial error and concurs with the approach taken in this submittal.
