Failure to Collect Compensatory Samples for an Out-of-Service Effluent Monitor

Description

The inspectors identified a Green finding and associated NCV of TS 5.7.2.3 when the licensee failed to take compensatory samples in accordance with Table 1.1-1 of the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual when the Unit 1 steam generator blowdown effluent monitor was out of service. Specifically, radiation monitor 1-RM-90-120/121 was inoperable from April 27 to May 27, 2018, and compensatory samples were not collected and analyzed within the required frequency of at least once per 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />.
