o Obtain NRR approval of the proposed replacement weld, and o Update previous licensing documents on the loads and design of the SSW to document the technical adequacy of the as-built condition of the SSW.This report also provides WPPSS responses to the itemized concerns generated by I and E Region V (Reference 3)on the SSW.As such, this report is considered by WPPSS to be a comprehensive document, which in conjunction with identified actions in the report closes the technical aspects of the SSW issue on WNP-2 and will be referenced in the FSAR.It is WPPSS intent to request, at the August 6, Bethesda meeting, technical release from NRR by August 1S, 1980, for the limited scope of the slot'eld substitution on the basis of past submittals, and clarifications in the presentation and attached report.The enclosed report with References 1 and'2 provides background information.
