Enclosed is t he Quality A ssurance (QA) P rogram Approval f or R adioactive Material P ackages No. 0250, R evision No. 2 4, in response to yo ur l etter dat ed February 11, 2 022 ( Agencywide Documents A ccess and Management S ystem A ccession No. ML 22047A174). This A pproval satisfies t he requirements of Ti tle 10 of t he C ode of Fede ral R egulations (10 CFR) 71.17(b) and 71.101(c) f or a QA P rogram app roved by the U.S. N uclear R egulatory C ommission (NRC), as well as, approval of t hose changes to your qual ity assu rance program that ar e considered reductions i n commitments t o the NRC p rior to i mplementation as required by 10 C FR 71. 106.
In addition, 10 C FR 71. 106 requires t hat changes t o yo ur Q A pr ogram that do not reduce commitments m ust be su bmitted t o the NRC eve ry 24-months, with t he reporting period starting on the dat e yo ur r evised Form 311 was appr oved. Please not e that i f yo u did not make any changes t o yo ur QA program i n the pr eceding 24-month per iod, yo u ar e r equired to r eport that no changes w ere made. Termination of yo ur materials l icense does no t cause this A pproval to be automatically t erminated. If y ou w ish t o renew, am end, or terminate t his Approval, please request it in w riting.
This letter also serves as a reminder that if you are using or planning to use an NRC-approved packaging, you must be registered for use of that packaging with NRC. Registration for use of NRC-approved packagings should be made pursuant to 10 CFR 71.17(c)(3).
In accordance with 10 C FR 2. 390 of the N RC's "Rules of P ractice," a copy of t his letter and i ts enclosure will be made available electronically f or publ ic i nspection in the NRC P ublic Document R oom or f rom t he N RCs A DAMS, accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
