Dear Nicholas Plate:
By letter dated January 18, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession No. ML23055B080), you submitted an application to renew the certificate of compliance for the Model No. S-6213 power unit shipping container transportation package.
In addition, by letter dated December 28, 2022 (ML23003A237), you submitted an application to amend the certificate of compliance for the Model No. S-6213 power unit shipping container transportation package. Enclosed is Certificate of Compliance No. 9186, revision No. 20, for the Model No. power unit shipping container transportation package. The staffs safety evaluation report is also enclosed.
The approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 71.17 or 49 CFR 173.471.
