CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION FOR AMENDMENT REQUEST DATED JANUARY 2, 1989 By letter dated January 2,1989, B&W requested an amendment to License No. SNM-1168 to increase the possession limit for byproduct material. The byproduct material exists as contamination on/within equipment and/or as waste from decontamination activities. Therefore, an increase in possession' limit will not have a significant impact on the environment or the public health and safety. Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 51.22(c)(11), neither an Environmental Assessment nor an Environmental Impact Statement is warranted for the proposed action.
