ALLEGED INADEQUATE HP TRAINING TO SECURITY PER50l+NEL telephonically reported to the undersigned.the following information, l.

There is a "significant number" of armed responders (Security Officers) -

at Diablo Canyon that are concerned with'the possibility that they may have to respond to secur.ity alanns in " hot areas" and have not received sufficient radiation protection training to protect themselves from the dangers of radiation. Either their HP training was received "long ago" or they have received no HP training.

2. Watchpersonsa 't Unit I are posted at " borderline hot areas" and have l t

received inadequate HP training to protect themselves from the dangers of j radiation under " normal" and " emergency" conditions. - '

3. GC (General Construction) security personnel assigned to Unit 1 to supplement the Security Force have received no HP training, i.e., no one has allegedly

(, received training as to the purpose of a yellow / magenta line. '

This information has also been reported to Pinkerton's Security Management personnel '

by f s concerned in the fact of the reaction by PG&E Security Management personnel in the event these " concerned" (armed responders) security personnel suddenly become " unwilling" to respond to the security alarms in the " hot areas."
