Per our telephone conversation of January 17, 1984, I have enclosed copies of all interviews conducted,during the course of the recent inquiry in OIA/Zimmer. A list of those l] interviews is also attached. At the present time, none of ',

the transcripts have been released under the Freedom of

'] . Information Act. However, several transcripts have been -

provided to the non-NRC employee interviewees and the -

McCarten interview is currently undergoing review under FOIA for the purpose of a partial release. Also, GAP has a FOIA request for all documents, including the interviews, gen-erated by the OIA/Zimmer inquiry. Until the GAP request is processed, please treat the transcripts as confidential NRC documents.
