l The subject course is to be held in the Columbia, South Carolina area from l April 28 - May 2, 1997 by Chem Nuclear Systems Inc. (CNSI). Attached is a j list of attendees, general information sheet, lodging and transportation ,

information, and a course outline for persons scheduled to attend.

Students who are normally on the Compressed Work Schedule should be removed l from it during the training. Classes will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily j starting Monday, April 28.

Since Thursday, will involve a field trip, class hours may vary depending on commuting requirements. The course will conclude at approximately 4:00PM on Friday May 2 after a final exam.

3. Additional Information The Barnwell radioactive waste disposal site has restrictions on the admittance of pregnant women. If you are pregnant, you may opt to ,

1. The hotel for the NRC Training Workshop is the Clarion Town House, located at 1615 Gervais Street, Columbia, South Carolina, downtown Columbia.

Shuttle Information for the April 28 - May 2,1997 NRC Training Workshop (H-308)

1. There will be a shuttle service to and from the Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) (an Sunday, April 27th and Friday, May 2nd) to the Clarion provided by Shuttleways of Columbia, 1-800/484-8318, MCI PIN # 6084. It is each student's responsibility to call the shuttle service, in advanced, to notify them of arrival time.
2. On Friday, May 2nd, the workshop ends at 4 P.M.
