Status Report of Reportable Occurrence Issued June 16, 1983 After analysis on the reportable occurrence involving the removal of hatches which are a part of the negative pressure boundary and fire barrier, it has been determined that the reportability of this occurrence is 30 days under Technical Specification 6.9.1.9.b. This specification states that a written 30 day report is required for an event involving

" Conditions leading to operation in a degraded mode permitted by a limiting condition for operation or plant shutdown required by a limiting condition for operation". This occurrence is being reported for the operation of the shield building integrity and a fire barrier in a degraded mode permitted by Technical Specifications 3.5.6.2 and 3.7.10, respectively.

Pending resolution of this occurrence, the written report will be mailed by July 13, 1983.
