In the Matter of Docket No. 50-260 Tennessee Valley Authority BRONNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) TVA BFN UNIT 2 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION NO. 268 APPENDIX R SAFE SHUTDONN In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.4 and 50.90, we are submitting a request for an amendment to license DPR-52, to change the BFN technical specifications for unit 2, (enclosure 1). These proposed changes will add license condition 2.C.5(a) and appropriate administrative controls needed to implement the BFN unit 2 Appendix R Safe Shutdown Program. The BFN unit 2 Appendix R Safe Shutdown Program will be transmitted to NRC under a separate cover letter.

This submittal (TS 268) along with the Appendix R Safe Shutdown Program are complete stand alone documents.

Description, reason for change, and justification in support of the proposed changes are enclosed (enclosure 2). A proposed determination of no significant hazards is provided in enclosure 3.
