A management meeting was held on July 28 to discuss the RAIs.
TSTF to prepare additional explanation of the use of the existing and TSTF 1/12/2017 proposed SR notes. The TSTF and NRC will discuss the additional explanation prior to submittal of a revised traveler in lieu of the TSTF responding to the RAIs.

June 7 - NRC holding internal meeting week of July 10. NRC will provide comments after meeting Discussed at August 10 TSTF/NRC meeting. The NRC is concerned that NRC 11/9/2017 the SR provisions could allow a design change without a 50.59 review. The NRC is developing positions to be provided to the TSTF. The TSTF acknowledged the NRC's concerns and offered to work with the staff to find an approach that addresses the industry operational issue and the NRC's concerns.
A teleconference was scheduled for October 19, 2017, to discuss the NRC questions. The teleconference was cancelled to allow more time for NRC internal alignment. NRC to reschedule.
