Staff members are responsible for theidentification, evaluation, and protection of significant cultural resourceson TVA lands or land affected by TVA actions. This work is a critical component of the management of TVA lands and resources.TVA currently manages over 9,000archaeological sites and numeroushistoric structures, which includesmany TVA dams and powerhouses. TheCultural Resources staff includesarchaeologists, a historian, and ahistoric architect.
